Parent Revolution Coaching Program

A Monthly Program Combining Private Coaching with Personal Reflection Work and Art or Written Journaling (Recommend 3-6 month minimum)

Consistent support is so important for building new habits and learning new things. For our kids, and also for ourselves. In the support of private sessions, we will work on focusing direct attention to specific incidents and dig deep into the biology underneath the behavior, gaining insights which serve to inform how we want to respond.

With this insight combined with the right brain, bilateral stimulation of reflective art journaling or written journaling, parents and caregivers find that they develop deeper empathy for their family members and also for themselves, release guilt or other deeply held feelings that are blocking their connections with their families and feel a sense of closeness and warmth.

Whether your family is struggling with sleep, meltdowns, screen time, chores, homework, disrespect, or anything else, we can talk about strategies to work on this through the lens of Relational Neuroscience and Connection, bringing families towards connection, and working and playing as a team.

The Parent Revolution Program is a monthly 1:1 coaching program based in Relational Neuroscience and Attachment Science. The Science of Love and Interpersonal Neurobiology.

The foundation of our work together is in building strong and secure family relationships, through transforming ourselves and how we relate with others, while learning parenting skills which lead towards a complete transformation of your family and the relationships within.

This 1:1 Coaching program is intended to be monthly for a period of at least 3-6 months, to support families through this work, allowing time to embody the changes, and allow them to develop and deepen through the brain’s neuroplasticity.

Program Overview

Dedicated Weekly 1:1 Meeting Time

We will work together to identify a dedicated time slot for you weekly, the first THREE weeks of the month. This timeslot is yours, and yours alone, and I will be working on your program during that time with you, even if you are unable to join me.

The fourth week of the month (or very occasionally the fifth), is our reflection week, in which you will journal, and reflect on the month and what you are observing, noticing, and would like to incorporate into our plan.

** In months with 5 weeks on your dedicated session day, you are GIFTED one extra session during the 4th week, with Reflection Week then happening the 5th week of the month, and we can use it as a normal session, or as an opportunity to deep dive on another topic of interest. All to be determined within our sessions together.

(Nearly) Unlimited Email Reading

Any information sent to me between sessions will be read. It all informs the work we do together, and when this comes to me between sessions, it allows me to have more information to help guide us. While I do not usually send return emails, I do read everything sent to me, and there is no additional charge for reading.

Reflection Week

For the 4th week (or 5th, if applicable), a few guided journal prompts will be sent to assist with reflection on the month’s work together. This can often help families identify how things are sitting with them, what is working, what might need adjusting, and what they may need more support with.

Even the act of journaling helps deepen our learning and is a wonderful way to give ourselves the time and space to practice mindfulness, gratitude, and notice the felt sense of how things are changing as we grow.

Reflection Journaling and Art

During Reflection Week at the end of each month, the journaling prompts sent can be worked with in written form or in art form.

Many clients like to experiment with Art Journaling, and explore how this can deepen the work we are doing together.

In working with families, I have identified and outlined a simple method of art journaling that allows for busy families to experience this, in a way that easily fits into busy schedules. This process allows for a minimum of materials to be purchased, and a set up and clean up time of less than 5 minutes, so that it truly can be done in a short time of 15-20 minutes which can often fit into a little bit early wake up time, evening, or while family is engaged in another activity.

Many clients find it to be a wonderful addition to this work, and allow for more feelings and thoughts to arise. Highly recommend giving it a try, and I am here to help you get set up!
